The Race of Champions Tour Modifieds Series returned to Evans Mills for the first time in over 20 years. The 80 -lap race was held in the middle of July, typically the warmest period of a New York summer, hence the “Summer Sizzler.” The mountains are representative of the nearby Adirondack mountains.

Northern Lights in conjunction with presenting partner NBC Watertown created “The Nice List,” a submission form campaign for people to nominate others for their good deeds throughout the year. The list was filled with teachers, volunteer workers, and friendly neighbors. Winners received a carload ticket to Northern Lights at the Evans Mills Raceway Park

Each year, the Christman Fuel Service INEX Legends have the chance to compete for an automatic bid to the Asphalt Nationals by finishing in the highest order among their division competitors. This logo features hints of American pride to represent the National Qualifier.

The 4 Banger Nationals is a special night for four-cylinder racers at EMRP. The purse and number of laps are elevated for this event and has led to some thrilling finishes. A 4-banger is a slang term for a four-cylinder vehicle.

A few times each race season, we host Spectator Drags. It’s a one-on-one race for two laps between people in their street cars. All they need is a helmet and insurance, and away they go! I used one of our consistent competitor’s Ford Mustang for people to make the connection between the car they’ve seen and the name of the event.

The Zeigler ’67 is a memorial race held in honor of the Evans Mills Raceway Park’s founding brothers Bob and Dick Zeigler who first opened the doors to fans and drivers in 1967. The design is reminiscent of the simplicity of race car designs from the 1960s. Only black and white were used as that was typically the color scheme on the Zeigler’s own race cars. Now our modified series races for an elevated purse over 67 laps on Memorial Day weekend to earn a place on a perpetual trophy.

Division sponsors are utilized far more than any other asset during the race season. A division logo accompanies any social media post, website article, or print material advertising. These are the partners responsible for supporting our weekly race teams.

Other logo designs have been created for special events like premier races or for variations of existing logos to match seasonal campaigns.
